Is there a difference?

Some people like to use round bales to feed their animals in the winter time, and others like to use square bales to feed their animals in the winter time, and then there are others who use both round and square bales in the winter.
We like to use round bales and square bales too.  People don't know the difference between a round bale and a square bale except that one is round and one is square.  Well  I am going to tell you the difference   between the two.  The round bales are way bigger than the square bales are, and you can get either one in actual hay or straw.  The bales are different in many ways, I am only telling you a few of the ways today.
When you go to cut the string off the bale, (if you do) make sure your hand is at a position that you will not cut yourself then go ahead and cut it off.

Weaks and caring

No more animals have died since my last post, and that makes me happy because I love all my animals.  Most of our animals are doing great well not great but good.  Four of our goats are not very good right now and are weak.  They are also very thin too.

Caring for your animals is much harder in the winter than any other season, I think.
I think it is the hardest season because the cold is hard on animals, it is hard sometimes to get hay or straw, and it is hard to look for you to run tractors and machinery too.

News

Hey, haven't said hello for a while so,  hello!
I am so excited to post today because I haven't posted anything in a while!
First off, most of the animals are doing great, but a few went down.
One of our goats died because of the cold.(winter is not for me)
Two of our bunnies died because my brother didn't feed or water them.(they were his bunnies)

Goats are tame, yet there can be mean too.
Some goats can get their heads stuck in the fence

Switch Up

Sometimes you need to switch up your animals.  If you do not switch up your animals. . . . . .
1. they might run out of grass or what ever you feed your animals
2. they might find a way to escape from the pen they are in
The animals you have are special and you need to switch them up every two or three weeks to keep them in good shape and healthy!

More Calves

Trismas had her baby calf yesterday(Tuesday morning, June third, 2014).  She had a baby girl and her name is Princess!  I named her princess because she was our last calf to be born and she is so small, we thought there might have been another calf out in the field, but we looked all over the field for it and didn't find it anywhere.

Calves were born

Mabel finally had her baby calf.  Her calf is all black.  I got to pet her calf and her calf is a boy.  He is so friendly. The other day i watched him run in circles around the lot.  I don't know if he knew he was going in circles!

We had another cow have her baby just a few hours after the other cow had hers.  This cow was Maria.  Her cow is black with a white face.  I did not get to pet Maria's baby but her baby is a girl.  Her name is April, because she is the first calf born in April.

Our cow tiny had her baby recently.  Tiny had a baby boy! He has a white patch on his belly.
