A long time ago when my family first moved here, we got our first cow. One night it was storming and the cow was standing under a tree. the cow or the tree got struck by lightning and it had killed the cow.
Well this year another cow got struck by lightning and killed. It was Mabel, my favorite of all our cows. She had a calf at the time and her calf was able to eat now but it wasn't growing as good as it should have been if it were still milking. But now it's better and as big as most the other calves.

Calving Season
One tip is if you have a big herd of cows is to make sure your bull is not in with your calves or next to cows when they are calving because they can sometimes go crazy and ram the calves if the mothers have not protected them the way they should. Right now we have had five cows have calves but we still have a few left.
The reason I am saying not to let your bull in with your cows when they are calving because here at my house the bull was OK and we had it in with the calves and everything. But then this year we had a cow calving and were watching to make sure the calf was OK and that it got milk and everything. Well a few minutes after the calf was born the bull came over. He didn't want anything to do with the calf. He was knocking the baby around and at this point the calf can't even walk yet. So we have a family member go out there and chase the bull away from them. Then he kinda left them alone and we put him in the barn. So be careful because the bull could have killed the calf.

Bunnies
Bunnies are very soft animals and can be very mean and possible attack you too.
If you have a bunny or rabbit that is somewhat mean ten get a spray bottle and spry them with water every time they bite or try to bite your kids.

Goat products
Do you have goats and are you looking to sell the milk or make soap to sell?
Well in some states you have to have a license to sell those products. If you decide you want to sell those products then go to google and type in the top bar, do you have to have a license to sell goat milk in ________? [ type your state here]
If you do need a license make sure you get that before you mess around with the products. If you don't need one then you can go ahead and start any time, but you may want a license in the future.
hope you have a fun time selling!!!! :)
bye bye!

Dog
The dog you see up above is my dog named Daisy Duke. I love her, she is great puppy. She is only about six or seven years old. Her color probably gives it away, but she is a yellow lab. When we got her she was just a little pup; she was also the last pup and the runt of the pack. We give her water in her bowl twenty four seven and food about twice a day. We let her outside once in a while, it kinda depends on the weather.

Love my Goats
Mystery, my goat, had babies a few weeks ago they are doing great but I would request if you have to bring any babies inside to bottle feed, put a dog pad in a cloths basket and put it in there. Goats are the best and I think they are better than sheep, but that is just my opinion.

Well..........
This winter, we actually had a mama goat have triplets. Two were too small to be out in the cold and they weren't drinking off there mom, so we brought them inside. we bottle fed them inside for a few days, but then it started to smell really bad, so we moved them out with there mom, but sometimes this happens, the mother wanted nothing to do with them and so now we bottle feed them out there. So sometimes you have to keep bottle feeding them in or outside, but be aware of the smell if you have them inside.
